Listening Tests
ECoS, CSRE’s Experiment Control System provides an easy-to-use facility to set
up and carry out listening tests, including automatic collection of responses
by computer. With ECoS, you can define how you want your listening test to proceed:
with or without a specified audible or visible alerting signal; using a specified
set of speech stimulus files and in a given sequence; with an associated display
of text response alternatives on the computer screen; using a keyboard, mouse,
or other device to record responses; with or without the provision of accuracy
or motivational feedback to the listener after the response; and identifying the
files in which to store the data from the listening test.
