Installable Demos
These self-extracting demo files may be downloaded and installed
on your computer, so you can see and work with some of the functions of the software
package. Simply click on the link to the desired demo file, save it to your hard drive,
and execute it.
Each file contains: 1) a Readme file that provides information about
the demo program; 2) a brief "users manual" that provides more detailed information
about the specific package; and 3) an installation program that installs the indicated
demo and other files in a directory on your computer.
These demo programs are also available on the Avaaz demo CD, which can be ordered
from Avaaz for a fee of US$15 (USA & Canada) or US$20 (elsewhere) -- VISA charges
only/see the Order Form for details. This fee is credited towards any subsequent
purchase of Avaaz software.
The demo CD also contains tutorial presentations that describe the use of each
of our software packages, and describes some of the research involved in each
product's development and use.
For AphasiaMate, you can download a brief, narrated, self- running presentation
that describes the features and operation of the program. After downloading, just open
(double-click) the file "Aphasiamate.exe" to initiate this self- running presentation.
However, the demo version of the AphasiaMate program is too large to be downloaded, and
is only available on CD.
